For the past 8 weeks, I have been a part of an amazing group of people. As I reach the end of this class, my feelings are a little bitter sweet. I am so thankful for the relationships that have been formed and the information I received in this class. I look forward to working with all of you again in other classes as our paths may cross. God bless each of you!
Melinda, I have gained so much respect for you as a mother, foster parent, early childhood professional, and individual. I have learned so much from you, and I look forward to working with you again on this amazing voyage. I never expected to be part of such an awesome learning environment, and I thank you for encouraging me along the way. When you open your center, I want to visit!
ReplyDeleteMelinda, I first want to say thank you for your very encouraging spirit. From week one I have felt like we were kindred spirits in a sense. Especially since we now know we have more than a love for kids in common with our Mary Kay businesses. Every week during discussion I can always relate to your post and enjoy your creative thoughts and the experience that you share. I have no doubt that you are an awesome teacher and will one day be an amazing daycare owner/ director. I’m so thankful to have met you and look forward to keeping in touch. Take care!!!
ReplyDeleteHello Melinda,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say that your thoughts shared on your blogs and in our discussions have helped me grow in more understanding of our beloved field of Early Childhood Education. thanks for opening yourself to all of us, your colleagues at Walden University.
Melinda,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this quote by Richard Bach on my blog page, “What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly”. In deep thought, I came to the realization that we all start our lives in an uncertainness stage that with the proper nourishment should develop to a stage of total transformation. Everything we do in our life, our work, our education and goals should show an elevating process of growth. We cannot go around like the hungry caterpillar and consume knowledge and awareness and not allow it to enhance our life. If not what are we teaching the children and families we serve?
Your words of encouragement and support have enlightened my thoughts of how we excel from what we have consumed in our life experiences and education. Thank you so much.
Hi Melinda! You have been a wonderful shining light throughout this whole experience! I thank you for what you have contributed to this course and to myself. I appreciate your encouraging words and uplifting spirit. I wish you well and hope to see you in other classes.
ReplyDeleteTake care and Merry Christmas!
Cortnee :)
