  1. Hey Melinda! I'm very interested in the NAEYC child abuse prevention initiative, which I was not familiar with. I'm going to click on it now, especially since I am teaching abuse and neglect next week. I, also, plan to reserach "strengthening families" because this is another new source of information. I'm glad that I found your blog, because I like finding new venues to learn from. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Hi Melinda! Child abuse is a subject that is hard to deal with or even imagine that it is still happening to our children today. It's is so good to find organization like the NAEYC that is helping teacher with the resources needed to minimize this terrible actions towards our children while giving parents the tool to prevent these occurrences. Supporting Teachers, Strengthening Families, a NAEYC child abuse prevention initiative will be a resource that I will share with my fellow teachers and parents.
